Unbanky



The Co-operative Bank are unique amongst banks in New Zealand because they’re owned by their customers. But the concept of what this means, and what it means to be a co-operative in general, can be confusing for the general public.
We made this point of difference our greatest strength, by referring to the unique things we do as ‘unbanky things’, a term other New Zealand banks wouldn’t touch.
